Our Story
Blackbird Manila is located inside the iconic Nielson Tower, once part of the country’s first commercial airport.
Originally developed during the 1930s, Nielson Airport played an important role in Philippine aviation history before eventually becoming part of Makati’s modern commercial district. While much of the airport infrastructure disappeared over time, the passenger terminal and control tower remained preserved.
Today, Blackbird Manila continues to honor the architectural integrity and historical significance of Nielson Tower while transforming the space into a contemporary dining and lifestyle destination.
